[FRANCE] Workshop on “Better organization to market products through short distribution channels”
December 2023. On December 15, students from the Master EcoDEVA (Master2 co-accredited by CIHEAM-IAMM, Institut Agro Montpellier and Université de Montpellier) and Boutiques Paysannes joined forces to run a workshop as part of the #Lab4Supply project in Vézénobres (France).
[SPAIN] Second Focus Group On The Fig Value Chain In Alguaire
December 2023. Second focus group organized in the Alguaire (Catalonia) town hall on the fig supply chain. We discussed with farmers, processors, restaurants, distributors and public agents actions to promote the local fruit and the potentiality of creating a Mediterranean fig route including this Catalan town.
[ALGERIA] The FIG sector IN ALGERIA: Situation AND PROSPECT
December 2023. Workshop on the fig supply chain in Algeria. The communication dealt with the situation of the fig in Algeria. After a general presentation, the presentation discussed the constraints and prospects.
[SPAIN-GREECE] Consumer Choice Experiment on Fig Jam preferences
October-November 2023. The Agricultural University of Athens and CREDA have organized an experiment with consumers to find out their preferences when purchasing fig jam.
The experiment has been a success with 600 participants in Spain and Greece.
[FRANCE] Jours de Figues de Vézénobres
September 2023. 26th edition of the “Jours de Figues” of Vézénobres (Le Gard, France). An exceptional edition with delegations from Spain, Morocco and Algeria. LAB4SUPPLY has invited stakeholders from each country’s Lving Labs to participate in the activities around the Mediterranean Fig. In the framework of this event, the municipalities of Vézénobres (France) and Alguaire (Spain) have made a twinning.
[MOROCCO] First Focus group on the fig value chain at Ouezzane (North Morocco)
April 2023. 1st meeting of the Living-Lab on the Fig value chain at the rural community of Ouezzane, in North Morocco. Hosted by the “Jnan Rif” cooperative, this event has engaged key stakeholders in the fig value chain.
[FRANCE] Participation Of CIHEAM Master Students In The Vézénobres Fig Living Lab
April 2023. Meeting of the Fig Living Lab organised by CIHEAM Montpellier with support of Maire de Vézénobres, Agglomération d’Alès and Chambre d’Agriculture du Gard, where the Master students have presented their countries’ fig-related culinary culture and innovation ideas.
